FIVE GRAINS CONGEE WITH ASSORTED VEGETABLES

Cooking Method: Boiling

Five-grained rice is rich in dietary fibers and Vitamins B, C and E. Snow fungus is well-known for its cough-healing and skin-moisturizing functions. The Assorted Five-grained Congee has a light taste, seasoned with the Low Salt Soy Sauce is suitable for those who are health-conscious.

Ingredients:
Five grains 100 g [3.5 oz], White fungus 10 g, Assorted mushrooms 100 g [3.5 oz] [sliced], Corn kernels 40 g, Water 1000 ml

Seasoning Mix:
Chicken Bouillon Powder 1/3 tsp
Low Salt Soy Sauce 1/2 tbsp

Method:

1.  Soak the white fungus and cut into small pieces.
2.  Rinse the five grains and add water, seasoning mix.  Bring to the boil.  Lower 
     the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
3.  Add the fungus, assorted mushrooms and corn to further cook for 15 minutes to
     serve.
