The size of Chinese seasoning and foodstuff market of Japan is as much as 14 billion yen every year (except Chinese MOS). This continues to increase steadily every year. Making use of its own spices and herbs production techniques, S & B Foods Inc. mixs herbs with Chinese food to develop series of "Chinese Restaurant" products. Through co-operation with Lee Kum Kee, S&B Foods Inc. hopes that both parties' retail businesses will be stimulated and will have a flexible long-term development.
After the signing ceremony, a celebration dinner was held with the presence of the management from both companies. Mr. M. T. Lee, Group Chairman, depicted the relationship of Lee Kum Kee and S&B as a "married couple" where "unity in thought, target and action" is necessary. With synergies between two companies, a prosperous future can be foreseen. |
