To extend our help and great empathy to affected people in the earthquake, Lee Kum Kee has donated RMB 5 million through the Red Cross in China.

RMB 700,000 has been raised by staff of Lee Kum Kee's sauce business division around the world. To match staff contributions dollar for dollar, the company will donate RMB 700,000.

Nanfang Lee Kum Kee, a member of the Lee Kum Kee Health Products Group, donated RMB 1 million through the "Si Li Ji Ren" Foundation to the Sichuan Charity Federation on May 16. The company also made a donation of products RMB 10 million worth to the Overseas-Chinese Affairs Office of Sichuan Provincial People's Government on May 29. This helps members of the rescue team to strengthen their health conditions and immunity to disease. In addition, the company donated RMB 3 million (RMB 1.5 million from staff and business partners) for rebuilding the schools after the earthquake.

The fund-raising activity of Nanfang Lee Kum Kee's staff and business partners started on May 13 and temporarily ended on May 30. The company is in the process of consolidating the final amount of funds raised. On June 1, Nanfang Lee Kum Kee will commence a one-month nationwide program, titled "5+2 Rehabilitation of Homes with Love - Nanfang Lee Kum Kee Fund-raising Campaign", to sustain the momentum of supporting and caring the affected people in the disaster.

As of the date, Lee Kum Kee has made an accumulative donation of more than RMB 20 million to victims in the earthquake.
